Vargas Cafe in Cape Canaveral

I ordered the medianoche, yuca fries, and croquette ....absolutely delicious and the mojo makes the yuca fries. Finally a meal I am happy with while visiting.

Best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. Ingredients were fresh and the service was great.

Best place on the Space Coast and probably farther for a Cuban, but everything is phenomenal. The icing on the cake is the Cuban coffee after a meal. Everything is fresh, home cooked style Cuban and Mexican food. I'm here once a week!

Vargas is a friendly family run place with a to go window and outdoors seating. Calling ahead to place an order is convenient too. Will be returning for sure!

We were immediately welcomed not only by whom I presume is the owner, but also the customers. This is the place where everybody knows your name as they knew everyone who walked through the door. The establishment is not big at all so make yourself comfortable! We ordered breakfast sandwiches to go and they were accompanied by delicious cafesitos. If you want a truly "at home welcome" you should definitely stop here!

Food is excellent. Owner is friendly and funny. His wife is a sweat heart. Always a great friendly atmosphere in there. The food and coffee has never disappointed. It’s my favorite place to take visitors

This place is my favorite restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant. when I feel like having a fair dinner, this restaurant comes straightaway to my mind. Great and all sorts of food and a large list of dishes.courteous staff, and agreeable vibes. And very important, the tariff is affordable. I recommend this spot with great pleasure.

Authentic food! Don’t judge a book by its cover by looking at the outside of the establishment. The owners are friendly and welcoming. The dining experience is inclusive with Cuban classic sides and coffee. I rank it right up there with El Ambia on the Space Coast. If they had desserts on the menu, they would be #1. Prices are reasonable as well - considering the quality and amount of food that you get. Highly recommended!

We were looking up restaurants around our area and this one had rave reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. Boy am I glad we did! Best Cuban sandwich and roasted pork I've ever tasted! Small little family owned Cuban restaurant and the owners talked with us the whole time. So sweet!

Great food, friendly people. I was TDY to Cocoa Beach for a week and found this little gem on Wednesday. I had the Cuban sandwich, side of plantains, side of black beans and a side of rice. The food was so amazing, I made sure to come back again before I left town. Mr. Vargas is such a nice man, and was laughing and talking to all of the guest in the restaurant. It is a small place, so I don't recommend large groups, however, it feels like we you're at home in your grandparent's kitchen. The food is cooked to order. O got mine to go and it was sti extremely hot by the time I made it back to my hotel. You will not be sorry if you eat here. Thank you to the Vargas family 😍

Sat for 15 minutes... then left...wasn’t even offered water. We felt like we weren't welcomed. What a shame, were locals and always looking a great little Cuban place to call home.

BEST CUBAN SANDWICHES EVER!!! I took a family member who immigrated from Havana & he said it was exactly like his favorite cafe back home! It's a tiny mom & pop cafe w/HUGE PERSONALITY! The food is AMAZING, the staff is warm & inviting & it's almost impossible to not make at least 1 new friend while you're there bc everyone's treated like family! I've been coming here for years and it's always a stellar experience!

There are 4 tables and they are always full. The owners are wonderfully nice and will talk your ear off. The food is fresh and spiced wonderfully. Just be patient and you will have a fabulous experience.

Get the cubano! Get the coffee! I'm from out of town and this place has gotten me incredibly excited for Cuban food. I will absolutely be back when I get the chance.

Very small diamond in the rough. Great food, great staff and occassionally get a free shot of espresso during lunch. Been coming here for 9 months and love their cuban steak sandwich.

The food is wonderful! Owners are humble friendly and kind, you won't find a more authentic place. If you love Cuban food go to Vargas cafe you won't be disappointed. I will note the place is always busy and seating is limited for singles I'd recommend sitting at the bar. No alcohol is severed, however the owner makes the most deliciously sweet espresso I've ever had.

OMG, the black bean soup, ground beef, rice & beans burrito with salsa & pico de Gallo & espresso were to die for! Very friendly owner, Alberto & fun atmosphere. Next time I’m in Cape Canaveral, I’ll eat there every day!!! Sooooo good!

Best Cuban cafe in the area. I grew up in Miami. I know a good Cuban cafe when I find one. The owner/operator is super friendly and makes the experience memorable. Small cafe, room for about 15-20. Feels like visiting an old friend every time I’m there. Highly recommended. Breakfast too!

Just perfect. Alberto and his food are amazing. Spicy Cuban sandwich is as good as possible, with excellent roast pork and the best bread you can imagine. Tiny, authentic place Expect a warm welcome and hot coffee.

Fresh made authentic Cuban food. Very clean establishment with friendly staff and owners. My favorite is the masita de cerdo frita(fried pork chunks). Ask for the homemade orange colored hotsauce.

We saw the reviews for this place while on vacation in Cocoa Beach & decided to give it a try. We weren’t disappointed. The food was very good. Between the four of us, we had a Cuban sandwich, steak sandwich, chicken sandwich, tacos, fries and plantains. No complaints. Great customer service as well. Thank you!
